Out of stock

Pinotage is one of South Africa’s signature grape varieties. It was created in the 1920s by crossing Pinot Noir with Cinsault, then known as Hermitage. The first commercial plantings were established in 1941.

This Pinotage is grown in the Central Drakensberg, where the vines thrive in a unique mountain climate. The robust and vigorous vines produce dense, healthy bunches, allowing us to craft a wine with depth, character and a clear sense of place.

Our summer rainfall climate brings a distinctive expression to the Pinotage, while its Pinot Noir heritage adds elegance and complexity. The result is a wine that reflects both its South African identity and the unique character of the Central Drakensberg.
Truly South African – Truly Central Drakensberg
